updates

it had been a very busy week last week. we moved out of our apartment late at night (2 late nights!) to a new one in a different area. exciting, fun, and tiring experience. lots of thanks to the men who did all, well most, of the hard and dirty jobs. the girls' house is aleady clean and fixed while theirs' up to now needs some more housekeeping. well what would you expect from them? heh-heh. but then their space downstairs is smaller compared to ours so they are having problems where to put away stuffs.

the new staffhouse is waaaaaay cleaner than the old old one. we are the first borders there. it's a duplex, the men right beside us. three floors, the third being the rooftop where we're supposed to do our laundry. but the girls' washing machine is still downsatirs :(...maybe later we'll ask the boys to bring it upstairs for us. the first time we learned about the rooftop before moving there, parteeeeeeyyyhhh came to our mind! there we won't be bothering neighbors late at night. heh-heh. there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. we are planning of buying stuffs next payday to make our place nicer, cleaner, and cozier. a little interior decorating maybe --- curtains, pillows, candles! i don't know with the boys...

the next good thing about living there is the traffic-free ride to the office. yehey! 10 minutes and we're there, no need to rush. but then unlike in the old area where we used to live there are no groceries, mister donuts, night markets, water-refilling station, drugstore, video city, internet shops, and 7-11 nearby. we really have to take long walks before we find one. but we did find one mini-grocery when pinky and me went looking for them yesterday afternoon. it was her idea to make us familiar with the place. thanks to her.

there are many cats and dogs (many kitty and doggy litters too!), tons of sari-sari stores and carenderia, and cute little kids! it felt safer now that i had slept there for 4 nights already, plus the fact that kuya jojo already changed the locks and nancy and me put on a latch to the terrace door in our bedroom. the neighbors seem friendly.

i think we'll completely get used to the apartment in no time...

hah-hah! i already had my monday mischief this morning. just after closing the bedroom door, i tried to get in again for my phone. i didn't know that the door was locked when i closed it. pinky has the only key to it but unfortunately her stuffs are still inside! poor aris, still sleepy lying on the sofa waiting for his turn to the shower, got involved in the blooper i made. it took him time to dislodge the door knob, probably because he's still sleepy and hasn't taken his breakfast yet. ;) thankie aris!

oh well...i'm still looking forward to a great day ahead. busy, but will still be great! Ü

one more...i just got to put this because alfred insisted. i was looking for the hammer in the other staffhouse so i went up (nobody's around downstairs) and knocked on the bedroom. alfred was there, halk-naked! he has his pants on so don't worry, it's nothing shocking or scandalous. heh-heh. i asked him to open the other room to look for it and then he remembered he hasn't put up his zippers yet (how do i correctly say that?hmmm...). but i didn't really notice it not until he turned his back on me and zipped his pants. heh-heh. also, the hammer didn't make it in time as aris already opened the door..(there alfred, satistfied?) aris also requested i should highlight his name. ;)
